Texas A&M Academic Information Technology Services

As part of our ongoing review of the administrative structure of the university and in conjunction with Texas A&M Information Technology's move to the Office of the President, I am announcing the following organizational changes:
  •  The Supercomputing Facility will report to the Vice President for Research.
  • Enterprise Information Systems, Open Access Labs and Instructional Media Services will report to the Associate Vice President for Academic Services.
  •  Instructional Technology Services will report to the Dean of Faculties.
The changes align the research and instruction-oriented units with the Office of the Provost, which has oversight of academic functions at the university. These adjustments reflect Texas A&M IT's new strategic focus on delivering core commodity resources, infrastructure and central support of enterprise shared services.
These changes were effective September 1, 2014.

Mark A. Hussey
Interim President
